3/18/08:
Dear Mr. Bill Knell,
My name is B_____. I am 42 year's old and live in Claymont, Delaware. I have had some encounter's over the year's but I am still not sure what it is. I wanted to know what your opinion and thought's are on my below remark's about my experience's. My only real question is: I believe that Alien's don’t even have to abduct you from your car or outside anymore. I believe that they can dematerialize and materialize through your wall's, ceiling or any kind of matter. They don’t even have to beam you up to their ship anymore. They can come to you when you are most vulnerable in your sleep (like what ghost's do), and take what they want then. Do you agree with this?
I believe these Alien's can materialize and dematerialize just like some ghost's can and have done. It's also possible that the Alien's may be half-dead, half-spirit, and part physical but are taking DNA from us to make Hybrid's or to increase their own soul "light force" or "life force". I also believe just like ghost's, that Alien's are not only walking amongst us but they can physically travel or basically come to us while in a invisible form while they look us over while we sleep and take what they want.
Here are my current experiences:
Incident report:
In 1999 I had just lay down to go to sleep. Immediately there was a gust of wind that came through my mattress. I could feel it and hear it. The force of the wind traveled through my right arm located exactly at my right elbow. The wind traveled toward the ceiling and sounded like ruffling leave’s as it passed through the ceiling. As the wind went through the ceiling there was another sound. It sounded like two different combat sword rubbing together. It was a shrieking metal type of sound. The whole episode only lasted four or five seconds. It happened so fast I didn’t have time to be surprised or alarmed.
Also in 1999 I awoke one morning and had coffee at the dining room table as I usually do. I wear 100% cotton boxer short’s when I lounge around the house. While I was drinking my coffee I happen to look down at my leg just below the table. I saw something irregular about my right leg. I turned to the left side in the light to get a better look. There was a lot of hair missing on the inside of my thigh, to the left of my right knee. I also noticed about ten to twelve hairs that were sticking straight up (one eighth of an inch). These hairs were bone straight. They were so hard and so straight that you could run your finger across them and they would prick your finger’s like a pin because they were so straight, hard, and stiff. My friend down Maryland said it was about DNA. That’s all she said about it.
Approximately between 2002 and 2003 I was laying in bed trying to get to sleep. I felt a strange sensation in my head or brain. The strange sensation lasted one to two second’s. Immediately after that I heard a loud explosion directly outside my south bedroom window. The explosion was very, very loud and got my attention immediately. I believed that I was forewarned a second before it happened, by the source that caused it. The explosion was invisible in the air. There was no smoke or nothing around. There were no automobile’s running. It was an invisible explosion in space. My friend down Maryland said they were just trying to get my attention. That’s all she said about it.
During the summer of 2005 I happen to be cooking Kielbasa and Sauerkraut in the kitchen. I had prepared a whole big pot of Kielbasa and Sauerkraut. I was mixing the Kielbasa and Sauerkraut with a big mixing spoon. When I was done mixing I had some Sauerkraut left on the spoon. I then banged the spoon on the pot to get the Sauerkraut off before I put the spoon down. As I banged the spoon three times on the tip of the pot I saw and heard my car beep and flicker its lights three times faintly at that same exact moment. My car had been parked directly outside to the left of my kitchen window and I had my kitchen window all the way open. The kitchen window is to the left of the stove.
Sometime between December 2007 and January 2008 something was grabbing and pinching me while I was sleeping in my dream. I was not Astral Projecting at this time as far as I know. I immediately woke up and was fully conscious and something was still grabbing and pinching me under the covers and quilt. I immediately rolled to my left to get away from it. It was not my dog Taco who I sleep with. Dogs don’t pinch and grab. I did look for my little Chihuahua Taco and he was sleeping on the far right of the bed far away from me. He didn’t have a clue as to what was going on. I was very upset and concerned for my safety that night. As time goes on I don’t think about it because it only happened that one night.
I was over my cousin David’s two week’s ago. He had told me that my cousin Loretta had cancer. When I got home that night I went straight to bed. I thought about Loretta as I lay my head down on the pillow. I had just recently lost my Mom to cancer too and was upset for Loretta. I didn’t know how long she has to live. I was upset and desperate and I didn’t want to lose her without seeing her again in person or talking to her. As I lay my head down and close my eye’s to sleep I began to pray to the Virgin Mary as I always do when I feel anxiety or depression. But this time I had so much sorrow that I not only asked Mother Mary to let me see or talk to Loretta before or if she die’s, I also prayed and spoke to Mary Magdalene, and Mother God Azna. I fell asleep in about forty minute’s.
About three hour’s later I kept hearing a voice in my head over and over. It said: Oh deed, oh son, indeed, he will. I got up from bed, wrote it down, checked the time, then went back to bed. About an hour later I woke up again and heard the same voice with the same words. I went back to bed. It was a straight non gendered voice. I could not tell if it was male or female and I have no idea who it was. But I wrote the word’s down to keep. I heard the words in the early morning hours of March 9th, 2008.
I would really appreciate a reply. I have emailed two other sources including Dr. David M. Jacob's, PH.D, and I have never received no reply to my question's. There are not to many people to go to in my area and most people don’t care or believe it. The one's that are open to it cant help me because they have no experience and are only close friend's. I would appreciate your feedback and opinion.
Sincerely,
B_______

Thank you for sharing your experiences with me. I have worked with people examined by Aliens in their homes, in Alien environments and other places. It seems that what we call Aliens have the ability to move through time and space in ways that we cannot imagine. I am sure that physical environments involving walls and such are not barriers to them.
What you have described is typical of the experiences of many people that have been contacted by Aliens. I cannot comment on the religious experiences except to say that sometimes Aliens appear as deceased relatives, animals and other things to accomplish their agenda. Otherwise, those experiences are really our of my area of study.
It does seem that stories of DNA collection and the production of hybrid beings are true. I have personally worked with women that became pregnant at a time when they were not having any physical relationships with anyone. The children were later removed from them and, in some cases, they were shown the children by Aliens during later experiences.
You might want to read my thought on Alien Abductions here

3/23/07:
Hello,
I just wanted to send a brief description of a strange experience last week in southern Utah.
My 16 year old son, and my brother-in-law and I quite often have gone out to a local reservoir (Gunlock Lake, to the west of St. George, Utah) to observe the stars & often satellites, since that area is away from city lights and allows for nice views of the night sky.
Last Saturday night we went out there and were there some 15 minutes and noticed there were no satellites to be seen. Then, all three of us began to notice some strange lights that would fly through the sky at incredible speed.
It is difficult to explain the appearance of the lights... it almost looked like the concentrated beam of a flashlight shining against a foggy background, however, there were no other people near us with any kind of lights and the night was crystal clear... no fog or mist of any kind. The lights seemed to just "swoop" down or across the sky... so fast it was hard to track with our eyes. We counted a total of 5 seperate sightings within about 20 minutes and perhaps 2 to 4 minutes apart. Then they just stopped... and we went home when we didn't see any more for about 15 minutes. There was no sound of any kind associated with the lights.
I was the first one to see one of the lights, and at first I thought it was just some kind of phantom visual thing in my own eyes... but when the others started seeing the same lights in the same area I was looking, I knew it was something strange.
Ever heard of anything like this?
D.
Bill's Reply:
Regarding your sighting of the lights, that does seem strange. I have heard of objects so large that people believed they were looking at the sky. These objects would block out everything else. UFOs have been known to shoot beams of light out in all directions and towards the ground. On the other hand, there could have been high clouds blocking out night sky views and I suppose the lights could have been anything from ground reflections to lazars. If you go out there on a regular basis and know anyone else that does, it would help to see if others had a similar experience.
10/2006: There has been a reported alien spacecraft on the ground and alien physical contact here in North Dakota. It happened on a farm close to a city called Tappen. It happened in September, 2006. The farmer (who wants to remain unidentified) heard a ruckus in his pig pen. He took along his rifle and went out to investigate and saw a "wedge shaped" U.F.O. on the ground and five aliens were sighted in his pig pen. He shot at one of the aliens who let out a loud scream. One alien attacked him and ripped off his shirt. He passed out and when he awoke the aliens and one of his pigs were gone. A UFO researcher who lives in Minnesota came to investigate and saw the shirt and there were strange marking in the pig pen. The farmer had to be hyponotized because he couldn't remember the details. He said that the aliens did not have legs, they floated around on the air. He also said they had large black almond shaped eyes and had protrusions sticking out of their heads. He also said they were 7 to 8 feet tall. I heard this story on the local radio station K.F.Y.R. in Bismarck, ND and on the local Public Radio station.
I thought you may be interested in the Alien contact that happened here in North Dakota in September, 2006.
Creature sightings stir talk

Pig-grabbing space aliens are the talk of Tappen, N.D., and beyond. But Torrey Briese, whose family counts three close encounters with the inexplicable, doesnt much worry what others think. Some people probably arent going to believe it. Im not even trying to convince anybody. We know what happened, said Briese, a member of the Tappen School Board whose family operates a ranch outside of town. Briese and his wife, Myra, spoke Thursday of three strange occurrences experienced by family members in the past year, two of which were reported by their son Evan, 16.
According to Myra Briese, the latest incident went something like this:
Her son awoke early on the morning of Sept. 12 and got up to get a glass of water. Looking out a wi ndow, the boy saw something moving in the corral that is home to several large hogs that are basically family pets. Thinking it might be a coyote, he grabbed a gun and walked into the corral. There, he encountered two creatures standing 8 to 9 feet tall that were doing something to one of the hogs. The boy fired his .22-caliber rifle at one creature and was pretty sure he hit it, judging by the unearthly scream it emitted. Another creature then grabbed the boy and threw him to the ground, causing him to black out. When Evan Briese awoke, he found that Ruthy, a 450-pound sow that had been ready to give birth, was gone. The boy ran to the home of his older sister, Trista, a short distance from the house he shares with his parents.
Trista Briese made a frantic phone call to her parents and it wasnt long before they, and later the Kidder County sheriff, were on the scene. Evan Briese, whose shirt was in tatters, told his story. The sheriff, Doug Howard, then left but came back the next day. He ultimately came to no conclusions about what happened to the hog, Myra Briese said. Several days later, with the help of a hypnotist, Evan Briese remembered more details.
Five entities had been in the corral. Two were in the process of dragging what appeared to be a dead hog when the boy interrupted them. It's unexplainable, Myra Briese said. This still bothers Evan to this day, she said, adding that her son feels guilty for not being able to save his younger sisters hog. As for the other incidents, one was in April when Evan and his cattle dog, Buster, were checking on cows during calving season, his parents said.
Investigating a flashing glow, the pair walked over a hill and saw an object resting on the ground that appeared to be scanning a waterhole with an intense beam of light. At first, boy and dog could do nothing but stare. The spell was broken when B uster ran barking at the craft, which took off into the night, causing what amounted to a sonic boom. It woke Myra up, Torrey Briese said of the sound, adding that he, too, witnessed something unusual this past summer. It happened one night in July, when he was giving a neighbor a ride into town. Briese said he and the neighbor noticed a bluish light in the sky, which stopped when they stopped and moved when they began driving. We spent about a half-hour watching it, Briese said, adding that at one point the object flew so fast it went several miles in a matter of seconds. Based on the description of the object his son saw in April, Briese links the two events, adding that hes never been given to flights of fancy.
Evan and I are very skeptical, Torrey Briese said. We used to watch The UFO Files on TV and laugh out loud. Briese said he wouldnt be surprised if people feel the same about his story, but he said the family doesn't feel a need to prove anything and they've moved on. We're not out looking for aliens every night, he said.
Brice Barnick, the mayor of Tappen, located off Interstate 94 between Bismarck and Jamestown, said visits by UFOs are the talk of the town, though he himself is not quite on board. I'm not saying it can't happen. But I'd have to see it to believe it, Barnick said.
At the time of the April incident, the Brieses were put in touch with Richard Moss, a UFO investigator who happened to be in Tappen for a funeral. Moss, of Long Prairie, Minn., is a former high school science teacher. He said that in many years of investigating UFO reports, only a handful have impressed him as having the potential to be genuine. The Tappen incidents, he said, fall into the latter category. "There are a lot of people out there who are telling false stories. The credibility of the witness is a big thing," Moss said.
In the case of Evan Briese, Moss said it was interesting to view the boy's demeanor before and after the hypnotic regression. Prior to hypnosis, He (Briese) had a sort of unsure look on his face. He was still really wondering what had happened. After the hypnotic regression, he knew. He was made to remember, Moss said.
Sheriff Howard was off duty Thursday and could not be reached for comment. John Lemieux, a Kidder County deputy, said he did not believe the incident in September resulted in a written report. Torrey Briese said strange things are still happening.
A relative who farms in the Tappen area recently had a sheep die, and a veterinarian who examined the animal found no obvious reason for its death, Briese said. A cause of death wasn't the only thing missing. Someone, Briese said, removed a single testicle from the animal. It was done with surgical precision, he added.

Thank you for sharing this information with us. Cases with eyewitness and physical evidence are vitally important to understanding the UFO phenomenon. I would certainly welcome any further information about this case.
5/2006: For the first time I came upon your web site and I was quite fascinated by it. Ironically this is the same week I saw my first UFO. I just moved apartments in Denton, TX. and I was outside on my balcony for like 2 hours because my cat loves to be outside and I can't leave her out there alone and so.. anyway's I saw a grayish oval-looking object in the sky flying really fast like I would say 7 to 800 mph. This was at 7:00 p.m. so it was fairly dark and also what I most definitely and distinctly remember no doubt is that there was absolutely No are you ready for what I am about to tell you? there was no lights whatsoever there was so no way this could have been a commercial airline or a privately owned jet or something. So I just thought you would want to know Bill. I just turned 22 and I am a student at the University of North Texas so I do have a little creditability. E-mail me back and let me know what you think. Thank's for reading and your time, T___.
Bill's Reply:
Thank you for sharing your experience with me. The sighting you describe sounds like a classic UFO event. However, it's difficult to come to any further conclusions based on the information you provided.
If you're really interested in following this up, you might consider posting some notes or flyers in your building asking if anyone else had seen or even photographed anything during that time. You can always use a secondary email address as a reply method.
It's been my experience that when UFOs are seen in one area by many people, it's not just a random event. These so-called 'UFO flaps' tend to go on for some time and include more spectacular things like landings and crop circles. Good luck.
Dear Bill,
I just finished reading (with great enjoyment) your article about the possibility of animals being able to see dead people. Neither can I answer that question with any degree of certainty, but I do have reason to believe in the possibility... if not of their actual ability to "see" dead people, at least in their ability to "sense" things from within the spiritual realm.
Please allow me to explain...
My husband passed on 02/02/02 (How's that for a date to remember?), and our grandson, who was seven at the time, was extremely saddened/depressed by this event; more so than you would normally expect from a child of that age. He lived with us, and not having his father in his life, he and his "Paw-Paw" were the best of pals, "two peas in a pod", as it were.
When the (grief related) depression didn't subside as we thought it should, my daughter and I thought it would be a good idea to get him a pet to make friends with, and, hopefully, to help keep his mind off of his grandfather's absence. A friend offered a beautiful little puppy that we named Samson aka: Sam/Sammy, depending on how happy we were with him at any given moment. Having Sammy for a friend did help my grandson, considerably, so I learned to live with the little "accidents" that he had, and the frequency of his becoming, intimately, friendly with anything that didn't kick him off, as well as making an attempt with the things that would.
Sammy quickly became a valued member of our family. My husband never knew Sammy, since his arrival came after his departure, but I'm certain they would have liked one another. The event, that lead to my belief about dogs and spiritual matters happened one afternoon while my daughter, her friend, her friend's little girl, my grandson and myself, were casually chatting, about nothing in particular, in the den of our home. There is a small closet in the den and for some unknown reason my husband always kept his cologne and after-shave products on a small shelf in this closet, instead of on his bedroom dresser. Unfortunately, he never learned the lesson that "less is more" regarding the subject of fragrance. He would splash the cologne all over his face, neck, under his arms and over his entire upper torso, down to his waist. It was impossible for him to sneak up on anyone, as we could smell him coming from across the house. We all tried to "gently" encourage him to use less, but to no avail. He did things his way!
As we were sitting there chatting, paying attention to nothing in particular, Sammy went up to this closet door, looked directly at it and started barking frantically. To borrow a cliche`... "like he's seen a ghost!". Then, almost instantaneously, the strongest odor of men's cologne filled the entire room, to the point of being almost nauseating. We all sat frozen, just looking at one another in astonishment, each knowing exactly what the other one was thinking. I would estimate the lingering of this odor to be between sixty and ninety seconds, and then just as it had entered the room the fragrance dissipated, and Sam returned to his favorite activity, looking for a pillow to become romantic with.
Of course, I can't say that my husband's "ghost" was in the room splashing on his beloved cologne, but I do know what we all smelled. Mass hysteria? Well, if so it infected the dog, who didn't have a clue about "Paw-Paw's" cologne indulgences. Personally, I do believe that Sam met "Paw-Paw" that day, and that the overdone fragrance was confirmation for us humans that he was there. That... and, his way of telling us one last time that he was going to do things his way.
Thanks for reading,
Vickie
Late summer 1977, Lafayette, IN. Outside of the Rostone Plastics factory as I was standing on the edge of U.S. 52
In 1977, I was living in Lafayette,IN at the ripe old age of 16. My employer was an office cleaning service that had me working at what was then known as Rostone Plastics. One night, after getting off work, I was waiting for my Mom to pick me up when I noticed a bright light over the Tippecanoe Mall. The mall hadn't been there long and I had no idea what could have been making it so bright. Ignoring it, because I had no idea how to catagorize it, I turned toward Staley's refinery which is located due South of Lafayette. As I turned, the bright light stayed in my line of sight. Thinking that something was wrong, I stopped moving my head and that's when I realized that it was moving over the top of the mall and heading over a corn field. Fascinated by it's slow and deliberate movement, I continued to follow it's movement until it came to the smoke stack of Staley's. Once it got over the chimney, it stopped in mid-air. After a few moments, another object, identical to the one that was floating there came up from above and behind it. When the new arrival got within a certain distance from the original object, they both started to move over the top of the plant and cross over my location. I stood there mesmerized by them as they passed over head. The details of the objects are still clear in my mind. In the past, I have drawn the object several times. While they passed over head, I noticed that all the sound around me was gone. Not muffled, gone. This was odd for one reason, I was standing as close to Highway 52 as you can without standing in the road itself. I didn't hear traffic as it passed by, the sound of birds, bugs, or machinery. Ross Gear is located right next door to Rostone Plastics. The objects followed a path over what I refer to now as, the industrial corridor. Once it appeared that they had reached as far as West Lafayette in the distance, they both curved upward and shot immediately out of sight into the clouds. This last recollection has always seemed odd to me. I don't remember any clouds being present during their flight over me but I definitely remember them going up into the "clouds". This incident was singular to me and I couldn't believe that I was the only one to see this "event". I read the newspaper and watched the news everyday for a week after that to see if maybe someone had reported it and it made news. Nothing. Eventually, I got over myself and chocked it up to some sort of phenomena that occurs to individuals at one point in their lives. I know what I saw and the details are vivid but I gave up obsessing about it. What I would really like to know is, did anyone else see this happen and what was their recollection of the whole thing? What's funny is that the first thing I noticed when I got to your site was the statement, "report the event as soon as possible". Sorry to have taken so long and thank you for letting me vent.
This happened a few years back, i was around 8 or 9yrs old
i lived in a small suburb called Canley heights in Sydney Australia.
This incident is not all that interesting but none the less intriguingly weird. It was around 6 or 7 o clock and i was out in the front yard with my cousins and my dad just relaxing and talkin. it was a cloudy afternoon when these lights in the Sky showed up, not sure what they were i asked my father, he wasn't sure but passed it off as lights from a plane, but i have never seen any lights that go crazy moving around in directions everywhere before. the lights were big, a plane would not have the capabilities to be able to this. it was weird enough i still stood there in awe as the lights in the jus moved at great speeds. i could make out a slightly dark outline of a circle and as fast as it came it went. i felt that it was strange my father still persisted that it was jus lights from some sort of aircraft. and he was right about the aircraft but i don’t think it was man made. i am pretty sure a plane or helicopter cant do that, being a plane must keep moving and a helicopter can’t really go to high.
i was sure my cousins felt that it was weird, but said nothing after the event. i asked many of my peers at my primary school that i used to go to and they to said they saw it.
a couple of weeks past and i was at home with my mom, she was asleep and i was up waiting for my dad to come home as he had a had to work late that night. as i recall it was a thursday which this had happened. It was around 11pm my mom was asleep and i was supposed to be asleep i kept feeling something was weird, i look around the house but nothing was out of place. i went to check up on my mom to see if she was okay, i went to her to her bedroom and in noticed that there were neon lights jus shining through the blinds and without thinking i looked behind it to see a small ufo, around 2-3feet in diameter and hovering there staring at me and i was staring at it. i had no idea what to do, i tried waking up my mom but she wouldn't wake. i continued to watch the space craft, the craft made no noise and i was sure that it was alien. all of a sudden the craft jus sped off into the sky at an amazingly fast speed it looked like it was out of orbit in like 3 seconds or even less. my mother suddenly woke up and asked what i was doing, i explained it to her and she called me a crazy little kid. something with bright lights and hovers i was sure that someone should have seen it as well, the neighbors that look out their windows for example. the next day i told my about the craft and he jus put it off as my overly imaginitive mind right at that very moment my next door neighbor who was around my dads age appeared and asked what was happening, my dad explained and he told me i was probably dreaming it up. now that i look back at it i was sure there was something about the way the spoke, as if they had it planned to explain it all to me. I’m not saying my parents are aliens or anything but these events which happened are true, i give my word. though i do not give my real name i swear it is all true.
I am fascinated by the paranormal. I have read most of the books written during the 1960's and '70's by ghost hunter, Hans Holtzer and had the pleasure of attending one of his lectures at Stockton State College many years ago. I am native to Linwood and have lived here all my life. I grew up in this house and after marriage, I lived 1/2 block away until the breakup of the marriage and the death of my mother. My mother was an excellent medium although she was reluctant to use her skills--she didn't always believe in herself. This house was built in the early to mid 1920's and was the 2nd or 3rd house built on this street. When my parents came to look at the house before purchasing it in 1947, no one was living here. My mother has told me many times that when they were touring this small 2 bedroom bungalow, they went into the mater bedroom which had a very small closet. Mom was convinced that when they opened the clost door there would be a body inside. She was so sure of it that she actually covered her mouth to stifle a scream. There was no body in the closet however there was a single item hanging in the closet--a soldier's uniform. Was he one that never returned home after the war? None of us ever found out. The deed to the property states that the house was purchased in 1947 (or maybe it was 1949--I haven't looke at the deed lately). I was born in 1950 and my father died in 1954. In 1970 an addition was built onto the house--a family room, a bedroom and a bath. The kitchen was moved and modernized and the old kitchen became a tiny dining room. In 1960 that tiny closet in the master bedroom was enlarged to take in the entire wall of the room.
What I am about to relate involves separate incidents that may or may not be connected to each other. The first incident happened to me. In 1976 I had an office job. The door to my office was in front of my desk. There was only one door and the only way to get behind me and my desk was to walk in front of me.One day I returned from lunch. No one was in my tiny office. I was sitting in the chair at the desk and "someone" tapped me on my back. There was no one there. I KNEW there was no one behind me. The sensation was so real that I actually turned around to see no one behind me. It felt as if someone had taken their index finger and poked me in the middle of my back 3 times. It was obvious to me then that "someone" was trying to get my attention but I have no clue WHO nor do I know WHY. That was the only time that has ever happened to me. Incident #2 took place sometime after this. I had a friend sleep over. We were in the den. I was sleeping on the sofa and she was on the daybed that also served as a second sofa during the day. Somewhere around daybreak my girl friend woke up. She looked over at me and I was sound asleep. She described seeing a man sitting on the floor next to my sofa near where my head was. She said that he looked to be in his 30's or 40's and even though he was sitting, she could tell that he was a rather tall man. She went on to say that he seemed to be cutting something out of a newspaper. Naturally, being on the other side of the room, she couldn't see what he was cutting but he was surrounded by newspaper and what looked like articles clipped from it. She also said that she was not fearful of him; as a matter of fact, she felt that he almost BELONGED there. When she rolled over to get a better look; he was gone. I never woke up. She described the man to my mom. Mom said that from the description, she had seen the gentleman my mom had been dating for a few years. When Mom was dating this gentleman he was in his 80's and what my girl friend described was this gentleman in his 30's or 40's (my mom had known him all her life so she knew what he looked like as a younger man). Why was he sitting beside me? What was he cutting out of the newspaper? Even Mom the psychic medium had no answer. If he was by me at home, was he the one who poked me on the back at work? If so, why? Incident #3 also happened here at the house. Still in 1976. My mom had taken a cross country vacation that year. She was gone the entire summer. I stayed at home because of my job. One evening while she was still away I had gone to bed early because I didn't feel well. My "boy friend" (later to become my husband) had been here and when I went to bed, he left. As he went into the kitchen he remembered he wanted to tell me something so he turned around to go back thru the den to my bedroom. When he did, he saw a man in the doorway between the kitchen and the den. The man looked at him as if to say "Who are you?" but he also gave the impression that he was looking for someone--probably my mother. My friend was about to say something to him when he just disappeared. Digging out some photo's, the man was identified as the gentleman mom had been dating. I might add that he passed away in 1974--2 years prior to these sightings. Incident #4 happened to me in 1978. It was my wedding day. I'm an only child of an only child (dad died when I was 4 and mom had no brothers or sisters) so my mom gave me away. I was at the altar and the minister was doing his thing when clear as a bell I heard a male voice say to me, "What the hell are you doing here? You don't belong!" Who said it? Why was it said? What did it mean? I was married for 21 years before the marriage fell apart. Incidents #5, #6 and #7 happened here at the house within the last 3 years. My daughter was home alone. She walked into the living room and she found a child's toy on the floor. There were no children here. No explanation of where the toy came from or who's it was. (My kids were all young adults when this happened) and none of them had had this toy as children. About 2 months ago I was alone in the house. I was in the kitchen putting something in the fridge. I heard the front door move. I finished my business in the fridge (maybe 2 or 3 seconds) and stood up to see the front door closing--the door was moving. I dried my hands and went to the door thinking that one of the kids had come home and had walked back outside. There was no one there. There was no one in the front yard. There was no one in a car. There was no car moving down the street. There was no one walking. The few seconds it took me to walk from the kitchen to the front door, no one would have time to be out of sight. Last week I was again alone in the house. I had closed the front door because I was working in the den. I was out of the living room for about 30 mins and when I went back in the living room, the front door was wide open. Everyone living here was at work so no one had come home and left the door open.
I was never overly concerned. I was more curious about the unanswered questions of who and why. To this day I am still curious about them. My daughter is fairly psychic (must have inherited it from her grandmother). Out of the blue on day before my mom passed away in 2000 a customer of my daughter's told her that there is an entity here. It's not evil but it's not friendly, either. The entity has a habit of simply walking in the front of the house and out the back. Is this the owner of the uniform that was in the closet in 1947? While her grandmother (my mother) was in the hospital my daughter was also told by this customer that my mom would return to the house but it wasn't stated whether she would return physically or not. Mom passed away in the hospital without ever "returning" here physically. My daughter feels very uneasy about being in the house alone especially at night. She refuses to have a mirror hang in her bedroom and she refuses to look at the full lenght mirror on the bathroom door. She claims she doesn't want to see what's in it.
Response from Bill:
Thank you for sharing your paranormal experiences. While some of the events that happened to you are not uncommon, I think it's wrong to try and fit individual paranormal experiences into a catagory box when trying to understand them. With that in mind, I will say that most events similar to yours are like charms on a charm bracelet viewed by a stranger. The owner of the bracelet knows what each charm representing an important event or person in their life means, but a stranger looking at it will just admire the beauty or wonder what each charm symbolizes.
Think of each event you have had as a charm on a charm bracelet owned by someone other then yourself. They may be all linked in some way, but you can't put it all together. You can look at the whole thing as a mystery to be solved, a series of connected events or unconnected events. As an an outsider looking in, I would say the events seem to be drawn to you by a possible need you and members of your family have to close unresolved conflicts, events or feelings. We always assume that those type of paranormal events involve something the dead left undone. But most of us do not consider how our feelings, emotions or lives may equally influence another plain of existance.
I mentioned this to you some years ago when you were visiting our town and doing a radio interview on WDBO.
Back in late 71 or early 72 at the base I was stationed during the Vietnam war, I was on the base perimeter during a midnight shift . A couple hours after I arrived a call came over my radio for all personnel to switch to the emergency frequency and stand by. This is only done during an attack when every post and patrol goes under the control of the base security control and everyone prepares for a possible battle.
When enough time was given for everyone to have switched over, we were informed to increase vigilance in our respective areas of responsibility but keep on eye on the object hovering over the B-52 reventment area. I looked over that way and saw a glowing light that seemed to be in a mist or fog. From my position which was a good 2-3 miles away or more, that's all I could see. Control gave instructions for the local sector armored patrol to head to the area and that no one was to fire on the object unless it proved hostile.
I continued to watch it for some time and then it moved over to the base bomb dump and hovered there for a while. The next transmission from control notified us that two fighters had been diverted to our base. Shortly after that I saw the object starting to move toward the ocean. the next thing was two fighters flying down the runway low enough that I could see by their silouetes against the flightline lights that they were F-105s. As they got nearer, they hit their afterburners and started to chase the object. Since I was fairly close to the ocean, I got a decent view of them trying to catch up with our visitor, but it looked like it was leaving them way behind.
As I typed this I just remembered that there were no inbound aircraft during this incident or even the sound of engines running for the next mission. At night I could hear them even from this distance and we would have aircraft returning all the time.
The next day nobody talked about the incident. It was just like it was taken for granted as another day in the war or it never happened. To this day I couldn't tell what color, if any the glow of the object had.
