ALEXANDRA HOLZER - Author, Paranormalist and Speaker
Alexandra Holzer is a member of organizations such as the SCBWI, Firstwriters.com, IMDBpro.com and Absolute Writers.com. Her father is Hans Holzer, the original ghost hunter and a published Author with 146 titles in the genres of parapsychology, the supernatural, religion and healing and some fiction. He is best known for the adaptation of his book 'Murder in Amityville' for the film Amityville Horror: The Possession, Ghosts, America's Haunted House, The UFOnauts and Murder in Amityville: Fact or Fiction, a compilation of all three books he had written on the case. Alexandra was recently inducted into Marquis Who's Who in America 2008 62nd Edition. She recently published Growing Up Haunted: A Ghostly Memoir, a book about his life as the daughter of Dr Hans Holzer. |
Her mother is an accomplished artist, countess on the Baron side to the Russian Buxhoeveden Family with relations to Catherine The Great. Their published family book is written in German entitled, 'Riga 1201 Buxhoeveden 2001.' Holzer's 97 year old Parisian grandmother, Rosine Claire (married to the count of Russia), has herself published 'French Gourmet Vegetarian', 'New French Gourmet Vegetarian' and 'French Vegetarian Cosmetics.'
She studied at some of the best prep schools in New York City: 'The Lycee Francais', 'The Fleming School' and 'The York Preparatory School.' In 1992, after graduating high school, she attended 'The Fashion Institute of Technology'(F.I.T), earning two degrees in Fine Arts and Advertising. Her mother also attended F.I.T. when Alexandra was a teen. It was here where Holzer became a self taught Graphic Designer working for small to big travel ad agencies. In 1999, she quit her job as a graphic designer for a conference publishing company and bravely left to begin her own freelance business naming it AHG Design
Alexandra is helping to coordinate a Holzer/Buxhoeveden Exhibit for New Orleans Haunted Mortuary Museum. She has been working with the Exhibit Consultant of the Haunted Mortuary - a 24/7 Interactive Paranormal Observatory, Lab & Museum, who was recently for New Years Eve invited for a celebration on stage wit the Mayor and Mayor's office for the huge city concert & fireworks. This museum has been rebuilt after Katrina hit and is a huge moment for the team involved. Alexandra's mother, the Countess and her partner will be selling her haunted art there in two separate exhibits as they will be visiting the museum by spring.

Bill Knell grew up just outside of the New York City metro area during the 1960's. As a child, he began to hear volunteer firemen at his local firehouse talk about seeing strange objects in the sky. Some of the volunteers spoke of similar stories they heard from Police Officers and EMTs. Because Bill's father was a retired Air Force Officer, he heard more than a few tales of pilot encounters with Flying Saucers. These were all credible people considered to be trained observers. All this flew in the face of U.S. Government claims that most UFO witnesses were untrained observers mis-reporting ordinary objects in the sky.
Bill and his family attended a barbeque at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in the early 1960's. Chuck Yeager was invited and gave a short talk. With UFOs in the news at that time, Yeager opted to tell everyone a fascinating story about his own encounter. He recalled how that during the flight of an experimental aircraft sometime in the 1950s, he was shocked when a large disc appeared alongside his plane. His shock turned to serious concern as the object moved in front of him. With little control available to pilot his aircraft, Yeager feared the thing might crash into him. Instead, it vanished! Later he was debriefed and told that the object was an experimental aircraft. He replied, "It couldn't be. My buddies and I fly them all and I know what you got!"
Just after the famous 1960s blackout in New York City, accounts of UFO sightings reported by City Police and Fireman surfaced. These were reported by the local news media. Actors Warren Beatty and Stuart Whitman also claimed to have seen strange disc-shaped glowing objects in the skies over New York during the power outage. All this and the stories he had personally heard from credible witnesses caused Bill to begin reading more about UFOs and other paranormal topics. He attended a number of UFO and Ghost Seminars, meeting legendary figures in the Paranormal Community like Hans Holtzer, John Keel, The Warrens, Uri Geller and others.
By the time he entered High School, Bill's interest in UFOs and the Paranormal was insatiable. He started a UFO Club as part of an after school project for extra-credit based on a subject of personal interest much like the chess, math or science clubs at many schools. He expected a couple of students besides himself to show up. Instead, over 150 people tried to crowd into a classroom meant for fifty. Among them was the School Principal. He was a tough, ex-marine who told the group about seeing a strange object in the skies over Vietnam during 1967. When he tried to report the incident, he was told by his commanding officer to forget it.
After High School, two years of military service in the U.S. Marine Corps, two years of college and continued part time investigation into paranormal events, Bill turned his attention to the full-time investigation of UFOs and the Paranormal as invitations for paid Speaking Engagements increased.
Bill Knell has personally investigated thousands of paranormal events throughout the USA and Canada. He’s presented over 1500 informative lectures on the subject throughout North America and is a popular speaker at Universities where he's broken attendance records once set by The Beatles, Jay Leno, Howie Mandel and Magician David Copperfield.
