Contracts: The client will provide the contract which shall include all the fees and Speaker requirements listed on this page. It shall also include the date, time, exact location and a brief description of the speaking event and venue. It shall be mailed to: Requirements: 2. Ground Transportation: One mid size car rental for each day of the event arranged and paid for by the client. 3. Lodging: Shall be arranged and paid for by the client. Morning events require a two (2) night hotel stay (the day before and day of event). 4. Publicity and Materials: The client shall promote the event. Bill Knell is available for media phone interviews to help promote the event and pre-approved media guest spots and interviews while on site for the speaking engagement. A photo and a biography shall be emailed to the client after a contract is received and after the deposit is paid. The Sponsor is responsible for any and all publicity materials to promote the event and publicity material masters require email approvals. 5. Presentation Materials/Handouts: Will be emailed to the client in advance. The client must reproduce quality copies and provide one for each person attending the event. 6. A/V Requirements (Keynote): Wireless clip-on, handheld or lecturn microphone and equipment to accomodate a PowerPoint Slide presentation. 7. Audio or Video Taping: Advance permission from the Speaker is required. No fee due the Speaker is necessary unless the recording will be sold as downloads, dvds or in any other form (including transcribed or printed). Speaker receives a quality copy of the complete recording on DVD. 8. Directions, Schedules and Contacts: Directions to the venue and a schedule which will specify dates and times, as well as on location contact people, email addresses and phone numbers shall be provided by email at least five days prior to the performance. 9. Cancellations: If the Presenter (Speaker) needs to cancel a performance for any reason, the deposit will be refunded with no additional penalties or refund of expenses due. If the Client cancels a performance for any reason or the performance is cancelled or unable to go forward due to a problem with the venue, the deposit shall not be returned. If a performance is cancelled while the Speaker is on location, the entire speaking fee is still due.
